Post birthday fun at the pool in Sanur

After all the excitement of Kim's birthday and our first intense day in Bali, we opted for a quiet one, at the pool of a beach hotel (Villa Shanti). We had lunch accompanied by serene Balinese music played on a kind of bamboo xylophone. The girls spent hours in the water but only after the Ipod's battery had ran out !

We started collecting Balinese door pictures (but I'll need Photoshop to piece them together into a poster); here we are taking a brief pause from the sun, the heat and the continuous calls from taxi drivers and tourist shop owners.
