Ubud, day 3, on the road again, again

Thanks to Benoit's incredible driving skills and to his sense of direction we were out of Ubud in a mere 1.5 hours! The theme of the day, as you may have guessed from the pictures below, was rice fields... around Jatiluwih and beyond towards Batukaru.

From Jatiluwih to Batukaru, the very, very bumpy road took us through an amazing bamboo forest.

We finally reached the temple of Batukaru under the "misty mountains", just in time for the rain, as usual. We were rewarded by glimpses of a full moon ceremony... not for our agnostic selves to attend though!
